The Green Crested Lizard (Bronchocela cristatella<\/em>) is a lizard found in South East Asia.<\/p>\n

It is bright green in colour, sometimes with a bluish tint in the head area. When threatened, it can turn brownish in colour. The male has a neck crest. It has a very long tail that makes up over 75 percent of its total length. <\/p>\n

In Singapore, it is in decline due to competition with the introduced Changeable Lizard (Calotes versicolor<\/em>). <\/p>\n
